Steamboat Food & Wine Festival Announces 2020 Event

Extraordinary lineup of award-winning chefs and sommeliers join celebration October 1-4

Steamboat Food & Wine Festival just announced that tickets are now on sale for an enhanced and safe program this fall. Returning to this beautiful and charming mountain town for its second year, the Steamboat Food & Wine Festival is a four-day celebration featuring collaborations with celebrated chefs, wine-makers and other culinary specialists from around the country paired with savory events to enchant the palette.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend conversations and seminars with wine experts, culinary demonstrations, intimate chef’s dinners hosted in spectacular settings, two grand tasting sessions, an art walk down Steamboat’s main street and an Espresso & Prosecco Brunch on Sunday in downtown Steamboat.

This year’s culinary talent includes James Beard household and celebrity chef names Jennifer Jasinski (Rioja, Ultreia, Bistro Vendome), Alex Seidel (Fruition, Mercantile, Chook), Erik Skokan (Black Cat), Kelly Whitaker (Basta, Wolf’s Tailor), Chef Kevin Nashan from St.Louis’ Peacemaker, Top Chef Winner Hosea Rosenberg, and Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chef Caroline Glover, joining local and other regional favorites like Daniel Asher (River & Woods), Patrick Ayres, Vail’s Sweet Basil Chef Paul Anders, Joe Campbell (Mambo), and Paul Reilly (Coperta). Chef and master mixologist Daniel Sanchez will also be coming from Los Cabos, Mexico to join the fun. Attimo founder Jon Schlegel will have his favorite varietals for guests to discover, and Master Sommeliers Brett Zimmerman and Sean Razee will provide wine experiences that accompany intriguing and engrossing narratives.
