The Russell: More Than a Western Art Sale
Make The Russell at the Mansfield Convention Center your headquarters for Western Art Week in Great Falls, Montana, March 17-19!
- Swing by during the day to enjoy the Russell Skull Society of Artists Suites. Admission is free and there will be live music, beer and wine tastings, and much more! The suites are open Thursday, March 17 through Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (4 p.m. on Saturday).
- Check out the Educational Symposium, presented by D.A. Davidson, Mansfield Missouri Room, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Scholars B. Byron Price and Dan Flores will be joined by Russell Skull Society Artist Chad Poppleton to explore this year’s symposium topic, “Animals, Art, and the Environment.” Free and open to the public, this event is always fascinating and sure to encourage thoughtful dialogue.
- Cheers to Charlie! Celebrate Charlie Russell’s birthday on Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m. We’ll have a toast with sparkling wine provided by Glamma Wines, birthday cake, and a book signing by a panel of Charlie experts. Keep your eyes open—we’ve heard that Charlie and Nancy may be making a surprise appearance!
