The Broadmoor has recently announced its “Taste and Savor—A Moveable Feast,” a series of small-group culinary and beverage demonstrations with noted chefs and winemakers, as well as meet-and-greet receptions and exclusive dinners. Each month beginning January, 2016 The Broadmoor showcases a guest chef and/or bartender or sommelier for an event tailored to a unique theme.

Dates and details include:
January 15-17: Pinot Posse
The weekend offers a series of seminars and a special evening at The Broadmoor’s Summit restaurant showcasing some of the country’s best Pinot Noir winemakers alongside Chef Mark Musial’s special menu to mark the restaurant’s 10-year anniversary. Winemakers include Andrew Vingiello, AP Vin; Ed Kurtzman, August West; Jenne Bonaccorsi, Bonaccorsi; Jim Prosser, JK Carriere; Craig Strelow, Camlow Keefer Ranch; David O'Reilly, Owen Roe; Dan Kosta, Kosta Browne; and Peter Cargasacchi, Cargasacchi.

February 5-6: Chocolate and Champagne
A weekend of sweet and savory indulgence with gourmet chocolates and cooking demonstration from renowned chocolatier Valrhona paired with bubbly from Champagne Taittinger. Ecole Valrhona Pastry Chef Derek Poirier teaches guests how to make their own chocolate confections at home while experts from Champagne Taittinger demonstrate the perfect combination of bubbles and chocolate.

March 11-12: Frank Bonanno and Jay Fletcher
Enjoy a weekend with celebrated chef Frank Bonanno as he showcases his dedication to fresh, simple ingredients. A pasta-making seminar offers a no-fail method for guests to easily make fresh pasta in the comfort of their own kitchen. As a rare treat, Chef Bonanno commandeers The Broadmoor’s Ristorante del Lago on Saturday night, introducing guests to the authentic Italian dishes found at his acclaimed Denver restaurant, Luca. Master Sommelier Jay Fletcher of Southern Wine and Spirits offers a “Wines of the Region” seminar and introduces distinctive Italian wine pairings to complement each course at the Saturday night dinner.
April 15-16: Sean Kenyon
Award-winning mixologist Sean Kenyon, of Denver’s Williams & Graham, comes to The Broadmoor for a very special weekend of cocktails, upscale “state fair” cuisine from his new restaurant, The Occidental, and a spirited round of bowling at PLAY at The Broadmoor.

May 13-14: Alex Seidel
Chef Alex Seidel, owner of Fruition and Mercantile Dining and Provision restaurants in Denver, comes to The Broadmoor’s Natural Epicurean restaurant to showcase how locally sourced components enhance his award-winning cuisine. On Saturday, guests travel to Chef Seidel’s Fruition Farms to learn how he grows, raises, and sources fresh produce, including his line of sheep’s milk cheeses, for both the restaurants and his European-style market.
Each weekend package includes:
