The Artist Awards of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival 2016
The Cherry Creek Arts Festival, taking place over Independence Day weekend, is the annual celebration of art and artists. Special exhibits, art and culinary demonstrations and interactive family activities complement the Festival experience.
The 2016 Festival featured 260 juried artists selected from approximately 1,900 applications, with 14 artistic winners returning from the 2015 show and 5 Emerging Artists. The exhibiting artists were selected through a blind-jury process, based on artistic excellence in original, hand-crafted work, making the Festival one of the most competitive art shows in the nation.
On Sunday, July 3, 2016, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival held its annual Artist Awards event, where exhibiting artists gathered to celebrate the 2016 Arts Festival and honor the 2016 Artist Award winners. The following artists are automatically invited to return for the 2017 Cherry Creek Arts Festival:
