The Vail Jazz Festival is a 12-week program that brings the best talent in the jazz world to the ultimate summer destination in the Colorado Rockies. The Festival consists of six distinctive series that run from June to September. Check out each series below and then head to Vail for a plethora of performances and events fit for the whole family.

Vail Jazz @ Vail Square

Vail Square in Lionshead Village

Vail Jazz @ Vail Square brings the world’s most celebrated jazz bands to the epicenter of Lionshead Village’s bustling summer scene! With a vibrant selection of performances, this weekly series is the ultimate summer evening event to spend with friends and family.

Vail Jazz Party
August 30 – September 3​

The Vail Jazz Festival culminates over Labor Day Weekend with a unique mix of world-class musicians in a one of a kind format that has lived up to its title, the Vail Jazz Party. Whether it’s group performances, multi-artist jam sessions, or the inspiring multimedia tributes to Jazz legends, the weekend has a unique party spirit that attracts musicians and Jazz lovers from all over the world.

Jazz Tent at Solaris

Vail Jazz presents ten FREE outdoor concerts featuring local and regionally based jazz talent at the Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show. The jazz concerts are a natural complement to the fabulous shopping and wonderful food for which the casual outdoor market is known.

Vail Jazz Club Series

Wednesdays, two seatings at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm

Take your favorite NYC jazz club, add the rustic Rocky Mountain charm of Vail, and you’ve got the Vail Jazz Club Series. This incredibly popular series combines unmatched intimacy and spectacular entertainment to create the perfect evening out.

The Remedy at Four Seasons

Vail Jazz @ The Remedy is all about the passion of combining exceptional cocktails, artisanal eats, and great jazz. Each Sunday night throughout the summer, The Remedy hosts a stellar roster of top jazzers—led by Vail’s ubiquitous keyboard/vocal gem, Tony Gulizia—seasoned with visiting jazz luminaries.

Riverwalk at Edwards

Vail Jazz @ Riverwalk is a series of eight concerts hosted in the Riverwalk Backyard Amphitheater in Edwards, featuring regional masters of swing, blues, funk, Latin jazz and more. Paired with tasty local fare and activities for all ages, this series brings families, neighbors and friends together for a perfect summer evening.
