The 2019 Summit County Parade of Homes Winners

The extravagant showcase of homes turned 25 this year

In its 25th year, the Summit County Builders Association gathered extraordinary single, multi-family and remodeled homes to highlight the talent within the mountain resort building community. From September 21-22 and 28-29, 2019, mountain and architectural enthusiasts got the chance to tour some of these participating residences. 

The homes were separated into categories by square footage, and then evaluated by eight different sections: best exterior design and elevation, best kitchen, best master bedroom, best interior finishes, best interior furnishings, best landscaping and outdoor living space, best builder concept and workmanship and best overall home.

Admission proceeds benefited The Summit Foundation, an organization that provides assistance to working families and local community issues to preserve the quality of life for residents and guests of Summit County.  In 2018 over $45,000 was donated to the Summit Foundation from the Parade of Homes event.  

Editor-in-Chief Darla Worden and Account Executive Eleanor Wynant awarded the Mountain Living Peak Award to the stunning five-bedroom 1067 Discovery Hill project in Breckenridge.  Mountain Living readers got the chance to vote online for their favorite project, and The People’s Choice Award went to the dynamic Breckenridge house at 53 Rounds Road.
