Aspen Fringe Festival – June 10 – 11: Aspen Fringe Festival will kick off with the vibrant and emotionally charged Heisenberg by Simon Stephens.  The performance will feature Aspen’s own Nikki Boxer and Mike Monroney and will be followed by a post-show talk with the playwright Simon Stephens.

JAS Aspen/Snowmass Experience – June 23 – 26:  Multiple bands in multiple venues in Downtown Aspen.

Aspen Backcountry Marathon & Half Marathon – July 30: Utilizing the beautiful trails that surround Aspen, offering two options, a full or heavy half-marathon, both run almost exclusively on dirt trails. Elk Mountains above and the city of Aspen below, this is one race you’ll be sure to remember!

Independence Day Weekend Celebration & Concert – July 3: Enjoy a festive evening of live music on the Fanny Hill Stage, sweet treats, and free glow-in-the-dark goodies. Patriotic attire is encouraged.

2022 Drishti Beats Yoga & Music Festival – July 8 -10The three-day festival features yoga classes, lectures, and a live music lineup highlighting some of the top artists of downtempo electronic chill and house music.

Plein Air Art Festival – August 8 – 14More than 20 Colorado artists descend on Snowmass to spend four days painting the natural beauty and splendor of the surrounding landscape.

Snowmass Balloon Festival – September 16 -18The long-standing Rocky Mountain tradition features three days of 30+ festive balloons launching into the air from 7:30 am-9:00 am and a night glow on Friday evening.

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Steamboat Marathon – June 5: Run alongside the roaring Elk River through the emerald green pastures on Country Road 129 with the snow-capped Rocky Mountains of Colorado all around.

Fourth of July Celebration – July 4: Events like the Ski Jumping Extravaganza, hometown parade, and the largest Pro Rodeo event of the summer, have visitors proclaiming independence at this 100-year-old event.
