Friday Favorite: Our Most "Pinned" Master Bathroom

Mountain Living’s Pinterest page has become quite a popular place, and we love to see which images our fans love the most. One getting a lot of attention lately is this spectacular master bathroom from our 2010 Home of the Year in the mountains of Vail, Colorado.
Here, interior designer Cindy Rinfret of Greenwich, Conn.-based Rinfret, Ltd., designed a spacious his-and-hers shower that “feels like it’s cantilevered in the room,” the designer says.
The “New Growth” branch chandelier from CP Lighting in Milwaukee, Wis., is custom. The sculptural “Spoon” tub, by Agape, is “like art in the window,” Rinfret says. The spherical “Sorenson” lantern is by Remains Lighting. “We spent a lot of time finding light fixtures that were the right scale and the right proportion,” Rinfret explains. “The homeowners wanted views, so they had these tall, beautiful windows, but you still want the rooms to feel cozy. I think the lighting plays a large part in that.”
What’s your favorite design element in this beautiful bathroom? The shower? The flooring and tile? The lighting? That tub? Post a comment below and let us know!
