A Rustic Adventure Awaits at Red Cliffs Lodge Moab

Begun in 2025 and completed in March 2026, a complete property renovation transformed the lodge’s guest experience. With a cohesive vision for the resort, the forty Creekside suites, thirty-nine Riverfront suites and thirty-one stand-alone Riverfront cabins underwent a complete refresh.
The property also introduced Ember, a new signature restaurant and cocktail lounge. Red Cliffs Lodge Moab now serves as a refined launchpad for the acclaimed outdoor adventures and recreation the area is known for.

The property’s renovation celebrates the preservation of Western heritage with contemporary hospitality. By retaining the original architectural elements and emphasis on connecting the indoors with the majestic beauty of the surroundings, the lodge features a refined material palette and improved spatial flow. Expansive windows keep the Colorado River and the surrounding mesas in the sightline, reinforcing the immersive connection to nature.

“Our onsite concierge can help guests plan their Moab adventure, from hiking and sightseeing to river and off-road activities,” says Nicholas Fogarty, general manager of Red Cliffs Lodge Moab. “Spring and fall are popular for hiking, biking, and off-road experiences. Summertime brings the opportunity to enjoy longer days outdoors, and winter offers a quieter retreat with cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.”

“Ember Restaurant allows guests to enjoy a great meal without leaving the lodge,” explains Fogarty. “With the Colorado River and red rock landscape as a backdrop, the setting is what makes dining here especially memorable.”
Amenities at the lodge include a pool and hot tub, seasonal horseback riding, Sunday brunch at Ember and S’mores and Stars. The lodge is dog-friendly and welcomes two pets per room with a fee. Picnics, river views, lawn games and other family-friendly activities can be enjoyed when the weather permits.
