Experience the beauty of Montana through art at the 38th Annual March in Montana Auction and Dealer Show, presented by Coeur d’Alene Galleries and Coeur d’Alene Art Auction. The annual event will take place March 20–22, 2025, at the Great Falls Elks Club.

Collectors can expect a gallery featuring 750 lots with treasured pieces celebrating Western and Native American art, artifacts, and culture. “I think what sets this year apart are the number of big splashy pieces we have in the sale. Artists like Abigail Gutting and Don Oelze provided us with fantastic pieces. Rachel Brownlee also gave us a piece that is garnering a lot of attention. [In addition], many of our Navajo weavings fall into the big splashy category,” Ron Nicklas, Managing Partner of March in Montana, says. “We have several works this year by Great Falls artist Charles Russell, [which] are getting a lot of attention in pre-sale interest.”

The 2025 event will showcase a diverse array of captivating artists, including the legendary Charles M. Russell, with two watercolors of Native American portraits—one depicting Chief Joseph, another featuring whitetail deer, and an early depiction of a rodeo in the Judith Basin.

An ode to Alaskan art is also anticipated, with paintings by Sydney Laurence and works by Theodore Richardson and Eustace Ziegler. Over 60 Navajo weavings, a selection of collectible firearms, and Native American artifacts will also be available. In addition, bronze collectors can look forward to more than 100 offerings by Bob Scriver, Earle Heikka, Grant Speed, Dave McGary, and Lorenzo Ghiglieri.
