Seeking the Light Art Exhibit at The Center Theater Gallery
December 21
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

With an emphasis on the world’s connection and fascination with natural beauty, visiting artist Isabel Rucker is bringing a collection of watercolor paintings to Wyoming’s small mountain town this December. From vibrant to delicate pastels, this exhibit uses abstract shapes and lighting to produce portraits of glistening snowflakes, landscape greenery, and shimmery gemstones.

 

John Medeski’s Mad Skillet at The Center Theater
January 15

The soul of jazz and blues is rooted deep within New Orleans – which is exactly where the band Mad Skillet was conceived. With ferocious compositions fusing ragtime tunes,
R&B, blues and experimental rock’n’roll, the four-person-ensemble curates music that will emulate the French Quarter all the way in the Rocky Mountains.

 

Jackson Hole Exposed: Photo Showdown
February 9

Extreme winter sports are a regular pastime for locals and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the snowy mountainous Teton terrain. But, for those who cannot make the adventurous feat can view an up close and personal take on backcountry ski and snowboarding with this photography gallery. Six photographers will showcase their scenic adventures throughout Jackson Hole Ski Resort and will present their best images for guests engulf themselves in ski culture.

 

The Laff Staff

Sometimes all you need is a good laugh– and this comedy improvisational crew has been delivering just that for over nine years to Jackson Hole. This entirely unscripted local eight-person comedy group acts out scenes, interacts with audience, and performs quick-thinking games while covering all of the spectrums of humor from absurd situations to eccentric jokes.
