The 2015 Aspen Arts Festival

Aspen is one of Colorado's favorite year-round resort areas. This one-time silver mining community now offers abundant outdoor recreation opportunities, a variety of cultural activities and gorgeous natural scenery.

The annual Aspen Arts Festival, scheduled for July 25-26, is an outdoor celebration of the arts that takes place in downtown Aspen on Monarch Street, between Main Street and Durant Avenue. Presented by the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, the weekend showcases dozens of artists from around the country.

Here, you can see a broad range of creations ranging from life-size sculptures, photography, glass, paintings and ceramics to one-of-a-kind jewelry and mixed media. The festival is open 10am-5pm each day.

Wander around downtown Aspen, grab a bite at a local eatery, and purchase original artwork from the artists themselves as you enjoy this weekend of visual inspiration.
