Man on the Mountains: A Collection From Dan Deuter

Scottsdale’s Buffalo Collection is set to host artists and artwork this February

Even as a young child growing up on a South Dakota ranch, artist Dan Deuter found himself fascinated by his surroundings and the history of the old West. So much so, that it became the driving force behind his nationally-recognized talent for creating art depicting cowboys, American Indians and wildlife of the late 1880’s.

"Winter's Ghost"

A self-taught painter and connoisseur of all things Western, Deuter prides himself on the novelty and authenticity of the work that he creates. From horseback riding through Canada and Colorado, to later overseeing a bison ranch, Deuter brings his personal experiences and spirit of the Old American West to create authentic oil paintings for spectators to marvel.

"The Edge of Winter"

To showcase and spread knowledge of his passions, Deuter will visit the luxurious-yet-rugged artisan furniture store, Buffalo Collection, in Scottsdale, Arizona on February 18^th. Meet the man behind the paintings with live stories about the fruition of his Old West trademark-style and have the chance to bring the art home.

Learn more about Deuter and find inspiration about how to incorporate an American-West style into interior decorating. Libations and appetizers will be served at the event.
