Home of The Year Soirée in Jackson

The celebration at Snake River Sporting Club in Jackson, Wyoming celebrated the 2018 HOTY winners

Going to Jackson, Wyoming to celebrate the 2018 Home of the Year winner was one of the year’s highlights for me.

The gorgeous Snake River Sporting Club was the perfect location to host the event. We expected 175 people and had over 200 people show up! (We ran out of magazines and gift bags.)

It was a glorious autumn afternoon; people took advantage of the warm weather and took in the views from the patio.

The winning architect, designer, and landscape architect are no strangers to the pages of Mountain Living. We’ve featured the cutting-edge work of Carney Logan Burke Architects many times in our pages like this modern cabin in September/October 2016.

And the interior design firm WRJ Design Associates was on the winning team of the 2016 Home of the Year and their design leadership has been highlighted numerous times in ML, including their work on an elegant home in the Yellowstone Club in the September/October 2018 issue.

Teton Heritage Builders, a company with an outstanding reputation as a builder, and Verdone Landscape Architects (also on the 2016 HOTY winning team) creating dreamy landscapes through the Rocky Mountain West are familiar names to our readers. SAV Digital Environments created the amazing technical components of the home.

It is an honor to work with such dedicated, creative professionals. Congratulations 2018 HOTY winners! For photos of the winning home and a complete list of the many artists and artisans, visit mountainliving.com.
