Roam around Vail Village this Labor Day Weekend for a culinary explosion

Indulge in remarkable food, libations, and mountainside activities this Labor Day weekend at the 13th annual Gourmet on Gore in Vail Village. From August 31 through September 3, 2018, gather with friends and family for an immersive "foodie" experience.

The festival commences with the Tasting Tour that features Vail’s favorite spots, including signature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres that will benefit the Vail Veterans Program. Tickets for the Tasting Tour on Friday, August 31 start at $75 for an exclusive food tasting prepared from some of the most praised culinary chefs in town.

The open-air tasting is the headliner of the event, which offers tastings occurring on Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2. Satisfy any craving with complimentary admission where visitors pay as they go for tasty nibbles and drink pairings in the streets of Vail Village.

The celebration of decadent food is expanding and now offering two new components to the lineup: Gourmet, Let’s Go! and The U at Gourmet on Gore.

At Gourmet, Let’s Go!, food- and nature-lovers unite with the chance to revel mountainous landscape accompanied by local-inspired exquisite fare. Choose from free outdoor yoga featuring energizing breakfast bites or guided bike tour topped off with some of Vail’s finest beverages and snacks over the course of the weekend.

Food and drink connoisseurs should wander over to the event called, The U at Gourmet on Gore, taking place on Saturday, September 1. Stationed beside the Gore Creek, The U hones in on the artistry behind the gourmet delicacies served over the course of the holiday weekend. Expect workshops that will present thought-provoking conversations on how to properly pair beer with a meal and an emphasis on food inspiration.
