Sept 2-5: The Schweitzer Mountain Resort Fall Fest 2022 features live music, 80 beers, ciders, seltzers and select wines. Kids can visit the soda station to mix their own flavors and wild concoctions. The beer tent will be located on the tennis courts. The chairlift will operate for sightseeing, hiking and mountain biking. Tickets are available online.

Sept.7-18: Discover why Jackson Hole was recently named “Best Western Art Destination” for 2022 at the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. Local galleries and venues host over 50 free and ticketed art events in 12 days. Event schedules and tickets may be viewed and purchased online.

Sept. 9-11, 16-18: Grab your Lederhosen! Vail Oktoberfest will be held Sept. 9-11 in Lionshead and Sept. 16-18 in Vail Village. Octoberfest traditions will be celebrated during both weekend events filled with Bavarian music, dancing, beer, pretzels, bratwurst and strudel. Tickets are available online.

Sept. 15-17: The Breckenridge Wine Classic offers a full line-up of events with winemakers and wine enthusiasts gathering to sample the best selection of wines from around the world. Enjoy a choice of dinner events, a blending experience at winemaker for a day, a wine and wildflowers hike, and so much more. Tickets for festival events are available online.

Sept. 16-18: The Snowmass Balloon Festival returns for its 47th year. The three-day event includes morning balloon launches and a Friday evening balloon light glow. This year, spectators are encouraged to take in the sights from where the balloons take flight. The Snowmass Village shuttle provides free public transportation throughout Snowmass Village to Town Park, the site of the event. Admission is free.

Sept. 17: The Sky Lantern Festival offers participants a chance to view the magic of thousands of sky lanterns flying through the night sky. Use a lantern to release negativity and create positive energy as they are collectively released skyward. Tickets and parking passes are available for purchase online.

October

Sept. 23 – Oct. 29: Celebrate Fall at the Fall Festival at Cross E Ranch. Enjoy visiting the corn maze and pumpkin patch along with animal races, hay rides and other attractions. Fall treats and food are available for purchase. Festival hours and tickets are available online.

Oct. 1-2: Whitefish Trail Legacy Run is a fun-filled weekend of running events on the Whitefish Trail. Runners of all abilities may sign up for a 10K, 5K or family fun run. After the races, runners will receive free admission to Oktoberfest in downtown Whitefish. Race sign-up fees can be paid online.
