We just discovered something that makes us want to run home, pack our bags and hop on the next flight to France. That something is Chalet One Oak, a super-stylish ski estate in the shadow of Mont Blanc in a charming little village called Combloux.

Book a stay here and you’ll have the run of the entire three-story chalet, which accommodates 12 people. Its six bedrooms include four rooms with en suite baths, a bunk room and a master suite situated on its own private floor.

Guest room décor mixes fresh and funky elements with all-out opulence, and each room has floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace from which to take in the storybook views of mountaintops and countryside.

The chalet is just a five-minute drive from the famous Princess ski lift and seven minutes from Megeve village, but we’d be tempted to stay right here in the living room and take in the views from a seat by the massive open fireplace:

Of course, the chalet comes with a private chef who whips up family-style dishes from fresh and locally sourced seasonal ingredients, then serves them in this gorgeous dining room:

The motto here is “Whatever you want, whenever you want it,” and a 24-hour concierge service is on hand to take care of everything from transportation and reservations to ski passes and laundry. The only thing they can’t help with? The rather hefty tab, which starts at €9,875 per week.
