Challenge Aspen is Dedicated to Impacting Lives
Challenge Aspen is a non-profit dedicated to impacting lives by offering recreational, educational and cultural experiences to individuals facing cognitive or physical challenges. They provide programs such as week-long music, art, dance and outdoor-themed summer camps held in the Roaring Fork Valley, and in winter, adaptive ski and snowboard programs at Aspen/Snowmass, along with camps on the mountain and in the surrounding area.

All of the events cater to Roaring Fork Valley, making winter sports accessible to adults and children with any physical or cognitive disability, from novice to advanced levels.
The organization’s major fundraiser each year is the Vince Gill & Amy Grant Gala and Golf Classic, which is celebrating 12 years in 2015. Scheduled for July 27-28, the event is hosted by Grammy Award winners Vince Gill and Amy Grant, friends of the entertainers, disabled athletes and wounded veterans.

Entertainment for the Gala is provided by Vince Gill, who, with 20 Grammy Awards has earned more than any other male country music artist, and his wife Amy Grant, who has won six Grammy Awards and 22 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. Featuring two days of musical performances and golf at the private Snowmass club, it’s a fun, entertaining way to support Challenge Aspen.
A second fundraiser, the Challenge Aspen Marathon, will feature a traveling team to the Auckland Marathon in New Zealand, on November 1.
