The 2020 Crested Butte Music Festival (CMBF), running from now until October 3rd, will be the first in the stunning new state-of-the-art concert hall at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts which features a 350-seat theatre and state-of-the-art acoustics

The CBMF 2020 Season Theme “Not Just Beethoven” honors Beethoven’s 250th birthday. To celebrate this momentous milestone, the CMBF  will celebrate and explore Beethoven’s music, life, and times with performances like Beethoven the Minimalist, Beethoven the Rock Musician, and Beethoven the Profound.

In addition to programming centered around Beethoven, CMBF’s 2020 season will highlight the world’s best gypsy jazz musicians, heralded indie rock bands, and award-winning jazz musicians.

Performances on the home soiree series will afford you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience our acclaimed musicians up-close and personal. Learn about music in one of our musical lectures, presented by Co-Artistic Director Dr. Erik Christian Peterson.

The Crested Butte Music Festival joins the rest of the arts world in expressing concern for the well-being of our community amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this time, CMBF anticipates conducting the Festival as scheduled, albeit with new health and safety measures.
