The Aspen Music Festival and School’s 2018 season may be winding down, but three weeks of sensational performances remain with a collection of skilled musicians this August.
From now until August 19, 2018, relish in the impeccable mastery of classic music with featured artists revamping Beethoven piano sonatas, Debussy’s works, and Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins.

Notable artists like Vladimir Feltsman will play the piano alongside the Aspen Festival Orchestra on August 12 as well as Gil Shaham recreating the works of Bach and Debussy with AMFS Music Director, Robert Spano, on August 4.

Sarah Chang
Another established artist to include on the lineup for August is Sarah Chang, an AMFS alumni, who will join the Aspen Chamber Symphony on violin to present Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy on August 10. Additionally, she will perform on August 15 for a special event recital that will spotlight Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins.
