A Recap of the 2016 Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival

The Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival brought renowned chefs, culinary creators, and sommeliers to create a weekend of good food, wine, and adventure in beautiful Crested Butte, Colorado. The event had a record 1,473 people visit and join in the festivities. With a total of 25 events over 4 days, there was something for everyone!

Highlights of the festival included:

Canvases & Cabernets: Presented by The Art Studio. A fun, interactive painting session and wine tasting with Mary Tuck and Becky Chappell on the Center for the Arts Outdoor Stage.

Watercolor & Wine: Presented by The Art Studio. A fun, interactive painting session and wine tasting with Suzanne Pierson at the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks.

Eat, Drink & Think seminars: Short talks about sustainability issues in today's food system.

Winemaker and Farm to Table dinners featuring local and national chefs including Chef John Tesar from the restaurant Knife in Dallas.

A Grand Finale of Extravagant Wine & Exquisite Food: A 5-course menu at Soupçon Bistro with Chef/Owner Jason Vernon. Featuring Sommeliers Darin Thorn and Roland Herrmann (Maisons Marques & Domaines).
