A Recap of the Race of the Santas

Over 500 Santas raced down historic Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado

On the weekend of December 5, over 500 Santas raced down historic Main Street in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado, for the town's annual event, Race of the Santas and Lighting of Breckenridge, officially transforming the picturesque town into a holiday scene.

The annual event included carolers, fat bike racing, visits with Santa, and a tree lighting ceremony that illuminates more than 140,000 LEDs throughout Breckenridge's Blue River Plaza. Check out the fun-filled photos, including some of Mountain Living publisher Holly Scott's husband, Michael, and her children enjoying the race and festivities. Plus, a video of the start line!
