WRJ Design Showroom's July 21 Jackson Hole event highlights Vantage Design pillows plus paloma sloshies
WRJ Design is excited to host the first summer showroom open house of the season. The “Pillows & Palomas Pop-Up Shop” features Jade Miller’s Vantage Design luxury pillows crafted by Montana makers from deadstock materials – the overruns left behind by manufacturers – and vintage goods.
Guests can enjoy an iconic Jackson Hole shopping experience while sipping delicious Paloma sloshie cocktails and white wine, along with catered bites by Jackson local Jessa Talermo.
The event takes place Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 1 – 7 p.m. at WRJ Design’s showroom on 30 South King Street in Jackson, Wyoming.
The WRJ Design Showroom is a Jackson Hole favorite for sourcing fine home décor with an emphasis on luxurious artisanal and one-of-a-kind choices from around the world. “Which doesn’t mean we forget to look in our own backyard,” says WRJ Creative Director Rush Jenkins of their discovery of Vantage Design’s small-batch and earth-conscious Bozeman, Montana-made products. At the same time WRJ is known for special events that capture the relaxed sophistication of its interiors in party form at its Jackson showroom.
Bozeman, Montana, designer Jade Miller turned her “love affair with textiles” to launching her pillow line in 2020 with a mission of reducing textile landfill waste. With a process that produces little to zero waste and sources local labor, Miller’s Vantage Design has already saved over 2,000 yards of fabric from going into landfills as it creates its plush pillows from up-cycled designer fabrics and unique vintage fabrics, many with a story.

In the July 21 open house-style event, Jackson locals and visitors can enjoy perusing the always changing WRJ Showroom and meet Montana pillow-maker extraordinaire Jade Miller as well as new WRJ team member and Showroom Manager Shelly Johnson. “WRJ Home couldn’t be more excited to host a summer event after all we’ve all been through the last year and a half. Consider this a Welcome Back party.” says Johnson.
As always, WRJ Design’s popular coffee table book Natural Elegance: Luxurious Mountain Living by co-owners Rush Jenkins and Klaus Baer will also be available for purchase at the showroom.
Now in its fourth printing, the acclaimed book, published by Vendome, features more than 250 photographs by William Abranowicz of a dozen timeless and sophisticated WRJ-designed homes in Jackson Hole and beyond.
