Location: Big Sky, Montana Cozy Factor: This kitchen may be new, but a creative use of materials gives it that old-cabin-in-the-woods vibe. Standing-dead timbers and reclaimed barn boards form the walls, and the cabinets are crafted from trimmings of the reclaimed timbers used to construct the home. The gas stove—framed with Montana moss rock—shares a flue with an outdoor fireplace on the adjacent terrace.
