The Winners of The 2015 Summit County Parade of Homes
Hundreds of people gathered at the Silverthorne Pavilion to honor the professionals behind the breathtaking homes of the 2015 Parade
Hundreds of people gathered at the Silverthorne Pavilion Friday, September 18th, for the Summit County Parade of Homes annual Awards Dinner, presented by the Summit County Builders Association. The Awards Dinner celebrates the architects, builders, and designers behind the 16 breathtaking homes of the 2015 Parade and serves as a great kick-off to the event, which begun Saturday and Sunday, September 19th and 20th, and continues the following weekend of September 26th and 27th.
Twenty-four awards in three categories based on square-footage and were judged on 34 criteria to determine the best in exterior design and elevation, kitchen, master suite, interior finishes, interior furnishings, landscaping and outdoor living space, and builder concept and workmanship. Judges included professionals, outside the realm of Summit County homes, who are experts in the fields of architecture and interior design.
Mountain Living also awarded its own 2015 Peak Award to one home based on three "Design Execution" criteria: architecture and construction; interiors; and integration. The Peak Award was judged and chosen by the Mountain Living editorial staff.
