The Broadmoor is celebrating the holiday season with lights and culinary delights
This winter The Broadmoor is celebrating the season of diverse dining delights with holiday feasts, including spectacular Christmas buffets and indulgent holiday menus, plus fun events for the whole family and seasonal holiday stay packages. Holiday highlights at the Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort in Colorado include:

SANTA, GINGERBREAD MANSION, AND ONE MILLION LIGHTS
Starting on November 28, children and their parents can enjoy a special breakfast with Santa and his elves each weekend leading up to Christmas. Children of all ages enjoy the “Gingerbread Mansion” made by The Broadmoor’s pastry team and located on the Mezzanine floor of Broadmoor Main.

COMPLIMENTARY ACTIVITIES
With a myriad of complimentary activities to choose from, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy during their stay. Families can enjoy a rousing game of bingo or laser tag, take in a matinee or evening showing of a classic holiday movie, snap a photo with Santa at The Broadmoor Christmas House, or tour the Penrose Heritage Museum. Adults can escape to play winter golf or winter tennis, take a Broadmoor Cadillac out for a spin, or hit The Spa at The Broadmoor for an invigorating fitness class.
In addition, over the holidays and throughout the entire winter, Broadmoor guests enjoy Complimentary Weekend Activities during their stay, including history and art tours, wine and spirits tastings, cooking and etiquette classes, fitness classes, holiday story hours, themed movies, and more. In addition, little ones enjoy age-appropriate activities at the Bee Bunch, The Broadmoor’s acclaimed children’s program for children aged three to 12—while Mom and Dad enjoy some time for themselves.

CHRISTMAS CULINARY SERIES
Also from December 23 through January 3, at 3:30 p.m. each day in the Natural Epicurean restaurant, The Broadmoor’s Executive Chef Bertrand Bouquin and The Broadmoor chefs host hour-long interactive demonstrations that showcase how guests can perfect holiday specialties. Highlights include winter cocktails, wine tasting and pairings, rosé and canapes, chocolate from “bean to bar,” profiteroles, and “The Broadmoor Donut.” Each class includes a glass of Prosecco and all classes are $30.00 per person, with the exception of Wine Tasting and Pairing, which is $50.00 per person. HOLIDAY PACKAGES
The Broadmoor has several distinct packages throughout the holiday season. In December, the Classic Broadmoor Christmas 2015 and the New Year’s Eve Gala Celebration each include complimentary access to special holiday activities as well as additional savings. Offered November 1 through February 29, 2016, the Spectacular Winter Savings Package is perfect for families. With rates beginning at just $105.00 per person, based on double occupancy, the package includes complimentary dining for children under 10 and discounts on golf green fees and adult entry into Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

HOLIDAY FEASTS
The Broadmoor celebrates the season with a spectacular Christmas Day buffet at Colorado’s only AAA, Five-Diamond, Forbes Five Star restaurant, Penrose Room. Guests enjoy Lump Crab Salad with avocado, asparagus, grapefruit, and citrus aioli; Housemade Charcuterie including pork rillettes and country paté, wild mushroom terrine, and duck confit; Roasted Acorn Squash with cardamom, watercress, and crimson lentils; an attended raw bar offering East Coast & West Coast Oysters and Grilled Shrimp Cocktail; plus Roasted Leg of Lamb with chestnuts, mushroom stuffing, sage, and natural au jus; and Atlantic Salmon En Persillade.

EVENTS & GALAS
A Broadmoor holiday tradition, this year’s rendition of “A Classic Broadmoor Christmas” features headlining performances by Grammy Award winner Melissa Manchester along with comedian Dick Hardwick, The Broadmoor Pops Orchestra, and other special guests. Shows are held on December 12, 18, 19, 20, 24, and 27, with a matinee show offered as well on December 20.
The Broadmoor closes the year in style with the annual New Year’s Eve Dinner and Gala. Featuring special live performances by Ken Miller and The Broadmoor Pops Orchestra, the elegant evening includes a multi-course dinner, dancing, and ringing in the New Year.
