Friday Favorites: Dunton Hot Springs
The weekend is almost upon us, and though we’re still here at the office, our thoughts are already in the high country.
Here’s what we’re dreaming of today: a cozy private cabin at the Dunton Hot Springs resort in Dolores, Colorado.
Once an encampment for miners and trappers, the 400-acre property went from ghost town to luxury resort in 1994. Its 12 hand-hewn — and beautifully restored — cabins (like the riverside Honeymoon Cabin pictured above) are filled with creature comforts, from heated slate floors to plush linens.
Best of all, private hot springs are just steps away.
