Fine Living in Lake Tahoe
I recently traveled to Lake Tahoe for the SLATE Art Summer Launch co-sponsored by Mountain Living at the The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Lake Tahoe. The annual exhibition and gathering for design professionals focuses on fine living within the Tahoe area.

SLATE Art, a contemporary art gallery in Oakland, California and art consultant for residential and commercial spaces, organized the event. SLATE’s Danielle Fox, PhD talked and shared slides from some of the installations her firm has completed, and showcased paintings by one of their artists Ryan Bucko.

Jeff Goodwin, AIA, spoke about the newest addition to Mountainside at Northstar, the Boulders at Mountainside, designed by BAR Architects. The $60 million development is composed of 19 residences, nestled into the granite boulders of Northern California. Owners receive a one-year membership to The Ritz Carlton social club.

Whitehall Lane hosted the wine tasting, sampling their infamous Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. I couldn’t leave without a bottle in my suitcase, but you can also buy their wines online.
