The Italian-based company operates two factories in Nepal and Pakistan to oversee the celebrated, ancient traditions of the meticulous crafting of their hand-knotted and handwoven carpets.

Says Maurizio Battilossi, “One thing we pay enormous attention to is how color behaves across a surface. Machine production often culminates in color that is uniform and flat in appearance.
Natural colors, hand dyeing and artisanal weaving allow color to behave differently by penetrating the fibers slowly and deeply. When the fibers are saturated, the color becomes integral to the wool and silk, making it look alive.”

A curated selection of Battilossi rugs can be found at Integral Thread in Denver. “When we saw the Battilossi product for the first time, we absolutely fell in love,” says Owner, Stephanie Holmes. “We are very selective about the products we bring into our showroom. The weaving innovation is unlike anything we have ever seen in the marketplace.”
Clients may browse designs in the Integral Thread showroom to select from an extraordinary palette of colors and designs. The shop’s customizable services enable clients to alter dimensions, tones and materials, creating a bespoke textile element to enhance their space.
