Inspired by the annual Taste of Vail, The Antlers at Vail created a program that enables their guests to order delicious, homemade meals from their Private Chef. With condominiums ranging from studio suites to four-bedroom penthouses, every Antlers unit enjoys a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, balcony, daily housekeeping service, and complimentary Wi-Fi and parking.

Experienced at accommodating families, Vail General Manager, Magda King, says the program is wonderful for families that want meal options after a day spent outdoors and don’t necessarily want to go out to a restaurant. “This has been a very successful program for us,” she says. “Now in its fourth year, the Private Chef program allows families to order 48-hours in advance and receive a fresh, complete meal with re-heating instructions catering to families and groups at a reasonable price.”

Prepared with meticulous care by Australian Chef, Barry Robinson, the menu offers breakfast and lunch selections in addition to dinner entrees, sides, desserts, and après ski platters. Guests may select from two varieties of breakfast quiche, banana bread loaf, two kinds of breakfast burritos, and bacon. A sack lunch includes a grilled sandwich, a brownie, a granola bar, an apple, and a juice box to keep big and little tummies full to fuel a full day of outdoor activities.

Dinner entrees include hearty offerings like beef and vegetable stew, spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken pot pie ragout to name just a few. Top it off with a delicious apple cobbler pie that’s sure to be a hit. Après Ski Trays offer items to nibble on throughout the day and evening with a selection of cheeses, meats, vegetable crudité, gluten-free crackers, and sliced baguette. Easy-to-order menus can be filled out and dropped off at the front desk. “It’s an easy way to order meals delivered in oven-proof, recyclable containers that can be reheated and eaten at the guest’s convenience,” King explains. “It also offers the opportunity for casual, family dining in the comfort of the suite.”

“Chef Robinson has been with the Antlers at Vail for 15-years and has cultivated a way of creating intentional community through his delectable food,” King says. For returning guests, or those experiencing Antlers at Vail for the first time, visitors should expect “hospitality with heart and soul.” “We believe that we set ourselves apart from other accommodations because we really care.” she emphasizes. “We want every guest to feel nurtured, respected, and celebrated during their stay with us.”
