Now, inviting the welcoming tradition of the groaning sideboard to mountain homes for the holidays, the younger generation has spruced grandfather Eugenio’s Nordic-inspired Zhu sideboard with an extraordinary water-based dark green lacquer, finished with a hand-rub of beeswax to enhance the wood’s natural grains.
