RKD Architects, Inc. is a boutique architecture firm that specializes in resort and mountain design. Our focus is simple: to deliver exceptional, inspired architecture. As a small, hands-on team, our principal architects are deeply involved in every project, allowing us to devote our full attention and passion to a select number of clients. Founded in Vail, Colorado in 1989 by architects Sally Rich Brainerd, AIA, and Jack Krusen Snow, AIA, RKD has designed residences and commercial spaces across the Mountain West and beyond, from coast to coast. Our work has been recognized in numerous national and international publications, including Architectural Digest, Luxury Living, The Wall Street Journal, Mountain Living, The New York Times, Western Art and Architecture, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, and LUXE.
