A gem in the mountain community, Lake Tahoe has year round activities drawing in skiers, boaters and golfers. But, for the past 5 years, Tahoe has also drawn in cinephiles for the Tahoe Film Festival. Catered towards moviegoers and mountain lovers to view one-of-a-kind movies that invoke elements of creativity, cultural awareness and the outdoors.

From December 5-8, 2019 the alpine lake town hosted the 5th annual film festival that showcased a variety of films, including environmentally-conscious documentaries to scripted dramas. Venues like Incline Village, Northstar Village Cinema and Crystal Bay Club Casino Crown Room were on the schedule and allowed attendees to get a peek of North Lake Tahoe.
