Southwest Looms designs and produces handwoven rugs that capture the essence of the American Southwest.  With 35 years in the oriental rug business, we are passionate about good weaving and color!  Our collections express the timeless palette of the southwest from earth tones to rich reds and indigos. Quality wool and dyes, coupled with expert weaving and finishing processes,  produce rugs of great beauty and durability.

The Pendleton® Collection is drawn from Pendleton and other historic trading blanket designs.  For the first time, these striking designs are being produced as vibrant and lush pile carpets. The wool is handspun, yielding varying diameters, so that when dyed a delightful variegated color is achieved, giving the completed rug a rich and subtle blend of colors. The bold patterns and warm blending of color are sure to enhance any style home from southwestern adobe to mountain and lodge to ranch and rustic.

The Dreamcatcher Collection
is inspired by Navajo rug weaving traditions.  Our rugs are woven by finely trained weavers in India. We worked with our weavers over a four-year period to reproduce the exact feel, texture, weave and look of the Navajo hand-woven rug. Rugs are woven in traditional designs based on examples of Ganado, Teec Nos Pos, Two Grey Hills, Crystal, Chief Blankets, etc.  These lovely Navajo-inspired rugs are available from small to very large sizes and are friendly to the pocketbook!
