The Buffalo Collection was born of necessity at Scenic Mesa Ranch:  we built hunting lodges and needed rugged furniture; we had green hides from our buffalo meat business; a tannery in Salt Lake City and a North Carolinian ski bum from a furniture-making family made it easy to put together.  The rest is history. 

We specialize in custom trim made by local artisans:  braid from a rein-making family, leather applique done by a woman trained in the New York fashion industry, leather painting by a Taos NM landscape painter, beading by a woman trained from childhood in museum-quality reproductions, and sheared buffalo robe rugs.
