Opening Gala to Benefit the Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers Foundation
On September 27, 2007, we threw open the doors of Mountain Living’s Natural Dream Home with a gala for 300 invited guests. The proceeds of the evening’s ticket sales and eco-chic silent auction items were donated to the Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers Foundation. ML’s publisher, Holly Scott, is pictured below (center) with Sharon Hartman, president of the RMCCF’s board. Below (holding energy-efficiency awards) are Ken Pieper of Ken Pieper & Associates, Steve Gilbert of KPA Construction and Stewart Hansen of Cultured Log SystemsTM.

Three Industry Nights (Design/Build, Energy & Efficiency, Interiors)
Special preview nights for industry professionals drew hundreds of architects, builders, interior designers and suppliers for a first look at the Natural Dream Home’s exterior construction, interior design and even the insulation within the walls.

National Kitchen & Bath Association Roth Distributing (who provided the home’s Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances) hosted a dinner and presentation about good green kitchen design for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA-RMC).
