Holly Scott

Holly brings nearly 15 years of experience to the publishing industry.

Prior to being named Publisher of Mountain Living in 2003, Holly was the Ad Director at Mountain Living, Log & Timber Style and Westword/New Times Publishing. She has also sold print media solutions for C2Media.  

During Holly’s decade at Mountain Living, she has elevated the magazine’s brand in the marketplace, increased sales revenues, trained sales teams, managed numerous key projects and developed marketing campaigns for the Home Design Division at large.

She currently serves on the Roaring Fork Valley Parade of Homes Committee and the Summit County Parade of Homes Committee; her expertise was instrumental in launching both inaugural luxury home tours.

Holly is thrilled to have recently been named the Sales Force Development Director of the Home Design Division, for which she designed and implemented a “Sales University” for new sales representatives to help them succeed in today’s media world. Her newest training program will focus on tools and sales strategies for both novice and veteran sales executives.

Holly's passion for publishing began at Colorado State University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Technical Communication in 1997. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, running, skiing, songwriting and performing with her husband. She currently lives in Denver with her husband and two children. 

 

 

Christine DeOrio

Editor in Chief, Mountain Living magazine

Christine was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Pennsylvania and Las Vegas, Nevada, before moving to Colorado in the 1990s.

Prior to being named editor in chief of Mountain Living, Christine was executive editor of Mountain Living, managing editor of Senior Market Advisor and Benefits Selling magazines, assistant editor of Delicious Living magazine, and the Denver restaurant critic for gayot.com. She is also a freelance book editor.

Christine has a strong love of architecture and interior design and has studied the American decorative arts at the Winterthur Institute in Winterthur, Delaware.

In her spare time, Christine enjoys collecting antique botanical prints and indulging her passion for food and wine by cooking, entertaining and tasting her way through the world’s great wine regions with her husband Doug, a Master Sommelier.
