RAFTING IN SNOWMASS
Want to get wet? Rafting on of Colorado’s amazing rivers is one way to get your kicks this summer.
Blazing Adventures in Aspen and Snowmass will make sure that your rafting experience is one you’ll never forget. They have a variety of outings to choose from, including half-day trips to a full day excursion to Brown’s Canyon.
FAT BIKES IN BRECKENRIDGE
Nothing is more Colorado than riding a bike, and these new fat bike tours in Breckenridge are just plain fun.
Fat bikes are bicycles with fat tires, and they aren’t just for winter riding. Ridden, in downtown Breckenridge, has a fleet of Borealis Fat Bikes, which are manufactured in Colorado Springs. These sweet bikes make for a comfortable ride in any season.
Guided tours with Ridden include stops for historical tidbits in town. The route follows the paved path next to the Blue River to Breckenridge Distillery and Broken Compass Brewing Co. And you don’t have to ride back. Ridden’s staff will transport you back to their shop after the last stop.
Ridden also has a culinary tour available. See all tours at BreckenridgeBikeTours.com.
ZIP LINE IN LEADVILLE
A ride on a zip line at Top of the Rockies isn’t for the faint of heart, but it should be on your Colorado bucket list. This is the only zip line experience in the world where there is a possibility that you will be zip lining over a moving train.
There are a variety of outings to choose from, including one that involves taking the Leadville & Colorado Southern Railroad from Leadville to the zip line operation. This five-hour excursion is an experience your family will be talking about for years to come.
