Official Rules

Eligibility: No purchase required to enter or win the National Treasure Grand Giveaway (“Contest”).  

This Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are age 21 or older and residing in the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. Old Hickory Furniture Company and Yellowstone National Park Lodges (“Sponsors”), their employees, including their immediate families (spouse, children, siblings, parents and their respective spouses) and those living in their households, each of their advertising and promotion agencies, and their affiliates, licensees, subsidiaries, those involved in the development, production, implementation, and distribution of this Contest, and/or any other persons or entities associated with this Contest, including, but not limited to persons affiliated with Sponsors, are not eligible to participate, win, or use the prizes.

Entry: The Contest ends on September 15, 2008. Sponsors are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, for problems related to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Contest, for any human error, for any other technical or non-technical error or malfunction, for lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, garbled, misdirected, mutilated or postage due mail or other mail or entries not received by deadline for whatever reason. Illegible or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned. This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted; and further cannot be played where commercially-sponsored Contest or promotions such as this Contest are prohibited, restricted or subject to licensing or registration (except in the United States) by any national, state, local or other political division or subdivision.

To enter the Contest, complete and submit the online entry form, download and complete the printer-friendly entry form, pick up an entry form at Old Faithful Inn or submit your name, mailing address, telephone number with area code, to National Treasure Grand Giveaway Contest, c/o Old Hickory Furniture/Contest, 403 S. Noble Street, Shelbyville, Indiana  46176. By entering and participating you fully and unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors.

By entering, you also agree to waive any right to claim ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Contest itself. Entries must be postmarked by September 15, 2008 or electronically submitted and received by that date to qualify.

The winners will be announced on September 25, 2008 at the Cody High Style event in Wyoming. Winners not present will be contacted via email and/or telephone on that day by Sponsors (whose decisions are final and binding in all respects relative to this Contest), from among eligible entries received, based upon the following:

Prizes – There are two Grand Prizes as follows:
One Grand Prize of one roomful of Old Hickory furniture (the Yellowstone Collection of bedroom furniture).  Furniture will be shipped at Sponsors’ expense to the winner within six (6) weeks of award. 

One Grand Prize of 6 days/5 nights at the Old Faithful Inn for the winner and up to three companions. Prize includes airfare (up to $650 per ticket) and lodging. The winner is responsible for meals and ground transportation. Old Faithful Inn prize must be redeemed within one calendar year from the time of the award on September 25, 2008.

Approximate total retail value of the furniture prize is $11,000 U.S. The approximate total retail value of the getaway at Old Faithful Inn is $7,000 U.S. The Grand Prizes are not transferable and the winners must be one of the participants in the execution of the prize claim. No cash equivalent or other substitutions/accommodations are provided for under the Terms and Conditions or Contest Official Rules.

Blackout dates and any other applicable travel restrictions may apply; however, every accommodation will be made to assure travel for requested time. Travel must be completed before September 25, 2009.

By accepting and/or using Grand Prizes, the winners and trip companions agree and consent to the use of their names, voices, statements, photographs, likenesses, and other personal information by Sponsors and their advertising and promotion agencies in this and similar promotions for advertising and publicity purposes worldwide and in perpetuity in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation online, without compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating, the entrants, winners and trip companions further specifically grant Sponsors and their advertising and promotion agencies the right to use and publish their name, city and state of residence online and in print, or any other media, worldwide and in perpetuity, in connection with this Contest.

Release: By participating in this Contest, all participants, including the prize winners and traveling companions, acknowledge and agree that Sponsors are released, discharged and held harmless from and are not responsible or liable for any liability with respect to all aspects of this Contest that may occur from participation in this Contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize.

In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these Official Rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of the State of Indiana, and that it shall be resolved within and by the courts of that state.
