For most people, Wyoming conjures up images of cowboys and ranches, old-fashioned gun fights and real rodeos. And although you can find all those things in this great western state, Wyoming also has a refined side, with museums, art galleries and fine restaurants.

Cheyenne and Cody are true Western towns: Cheyenne draws thousands of visitors and top country music entertainers for its annual “Frontier Days,” while Cody, named for the legendary Buffalo Bill Cody, is home to the historic Irma Hotel and the eastern gateway to Yellowstone National Park.

But when it comes to mountain towns, Jackson and nearby Teton Village have grown into a world-class resort, with luxury hotels, upscale communities and one of the top-rated art festivals in the country, the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. The real estate market has grown with the town: demand continues to outpace supply, resulting in record-breaking sales, especially in the luxury-home market.
