About This Neighborhood

Idaho Design Resources

It was once known as the potato state, thanks in part to those “Famous Potatoes” license plates, but anyone who has ever been to Idaho knows that this beautiful state has much more to offer. Idaho is a place made for outdoor adventure.

Northern Idaho, called the panhandle, features several mountain ranges and national forests, as well as pristine rivers and lakes. A growing wine industry is also developing here. Southern Idaho is home to Craters of the Moon National Monument, the Snake River Gorge and stunning waterfalls.

There are also 16 ski resorts in the state, including Sun Valley, Grand Targhee and Tamarack. And as these resorts, as well as charming towns like Ketchum and McCall, have gained in popularity, luxury communities have been developed and real estate prices have risen. According to the Sawtooth Board of Realtors, condominiums and townhouses have sold particularly well as second-home seekers discover the beauty of Idaho.
