Airstream Dream

Unplug from the outside world in the vintage-chic Silverspace Airstream

It began with a woman who had an infatuation for old-school nostalgia, her husband who aims to please and an empty Airstream. The result? A refurbished, just-too-cozy lodging option called Silverspace, available for rent in Bozeman, Montana.

The owners, Dieter and Mary Switzer, gutted the interior and crafted their vision for a bright atmosphere with a feminine touch—offering a new take on glamping, wedding-prep rooms and event spaces. Modern but cozy decor fills the module, with retro Aluminum coachwork coating reflecting on the trailer’s exterior.

The Switzer duo customized the Airstream to fit any visitor with standard features like a comfy double bed, kitchenette, Bluetooth stereo, 40-inch television, outdoor cooking surface and full bathroom with a custom-designed shower. Additional amenities like satellite internet or a vintage awning with outdoor seating are available upon request.

Costs depend on the duration of the space usage, and can range from $95 an hour for three-hour minimum to varied prices for multi-night accommodations.
